Odoru Daisousasen series to air for five nights amid new film release

To commemorate the release of the new film ‘Odoru Daisousasen: N.E.W. Metropolis o Kakenukero!’, all 11 episodes of the original ‘Odoru Daisousasen’ television series will be broadcast for five consecutive nights starting September 21. The original series, which debuted in January 1997, follows detective Shunsaku Aoshima as he navigates the gap between police ideals and reality.

At the film's premiere stage greeting in Tokyo, actress Shuri, who joins this installment of the series, expressed respect for lead actor Yuji Oda. Her appearance drew significant attention from fans due to her bold, off-the-shoulder monochrome long dress. While the outfit was noted for its elegance, some observers expressed concern regarding its revealing design during the event's formal bows.
