ODPE Cerro Colorado inspects voting sites for 2026 elections

The Decentralized Office of Electoral Processes (ODPE) Cerro Colorado is conducting inspections of 137 voting locations to prepare for the 2026 Regional and Municipal Elections. The inspections aim to ensure that selected educational institutions meet necessary conditions for voters, including checking classrooms, entrances, restrooms, perimeter fencing, and the availability of water and electricity.

This gradual assessment covers 12 districts and one populated center within the ODPE Cerro Colorado jurisdiction. The goal is to update the diagnostic information for each establishment and identify any required improvements before the election day. For this jurisdiction, officials plan to install 1,322 polling stations to serve 393,891 voters.
