Odu’a Investment Company and Bajel Projects Receive Credit Rating Upgrades

GCR Ratings assigned Odu’a Investment Company Limited (OICL) a national long‑term issuer rating of AA‑(NG) and a short‑term rating of A1+(NG) with a stable outlook. The agency highlighted OICL’s diversified holdings in listed equities across sectors such as real estate, banking, oil and gas, and its strong liquidity and cash‑flow generation, while noting the modest size of its portfolio and sector concentration risks.

CRISIL upgraded Bajel Projects Limited to a long‑term rating of A+ (Stable) from A (Stable) and reaffirmed its short‑term rating at A1. The upgrade reflects a stronger order book exceeding INR 4,000 crore, improved profitability, a solid net‑worth of about INR 748 crore, and an increased total bank loan facilities rating to INR 3,500 crore. The agency cited the company’s focus on high‑margin power‑transmission contracts and expanding international footprint as supporting factors.
