Odumodublvck lawyers petition police over alleged arrest attempt

Lawyers representing Nigerian musician Tochukwu Gubemi Ojogwu, known professionally as Odumodublvck, have petitioned the Lagos State Police Command following an alleged arrest attempt on August 29, 2026.

The legal team, Marshal Attorneys, stated that officers attempted to arrest the rapper at approximately 3:00 a.m. at a Lagos club. The lawyers denied that any outstanding arrest warrant exists and maintained that the musician is not a wanted person. They argued that the police action was improper because the matter is already being handled by the Inspector General of Police’s Monitoring Unit and is currently pending before an Abuja Magistrate Court.

The petition requests an urgent investigation into the circumstances of the encounter. The legal representatives emphasized that their client has consistently responded to legitimate invitations through legal channels and has not evaded lawful procedures.
