Odyssey Jones expresses interest in joining AEW

Former WWE wrestler Odyssey Jones has expressed interest in potentially joining All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as he works to rebuild his career. Speaking on the ‘When Wrestling Was Real2Me’ podcast, Jones indicated he has been a fan of the Jacksonville-based promotion since its inception.

Jones noted that the presence of AEW provides a necessary alternative to the WWE, which he characterized as having a monopoly on the high end of the wrestling business. He suggested that competition is beneficial for both talent and fans, citing historical examples like WCW and ECW.

During the interview, Jones praised several AEW performers, specifically mentioning his admiration for Swerve Strickland, Kenny Omega, and MJF. He observed that the company remains strong as it moves toward 2027.
