Saudi Arabia implements new teacher training and AI education models
Saudi Arabia has launched a national model for teacher preparation and professional qualification designed to integrate local educational requirements with international expertise. This initiative includes a professional master's degree in teaching, developed through a partnership between the National Institute for Educational Professional Development, Saudi universities, and relevant authorities to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical classroom application.
Additionally, the Education and Training Evaluation Commission has developed an innovative model utilizing artificial intelligence to manage and analyze educational data. This system converts large datasets from assessments and periodic testing into intelligent indicators, supporting data-driven decision-making and curriculum improvement. The model has garnered international attention, with officials from the OECD describing the Saudi Education and Training Status Room as a global model that other nations can utilize to develop their own educational capacities.
