OECS hosts Youth and Women in Agriculture Symposium in Grenada

The OECS Commission, in partnership with Grenada’s Ministry of Agriculture, Lands & Forestry, is hosting the OECS Youth and Women in Agriculture Symposium. The event is scheduled for September 1, 2026, at the Radisson Grenada Beach Resort in St. George.

The symposium aims to provide participants with practical training in agribusiness development, digital innovation, leadership, and access to finance and markets. Key focus areas include climate-resilient farming techniques, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing competencies. Additionally, the event seeks to foster regional networking and policy discussions to increase the participation of youth and women in Caribbean agriculture.
