OEG awarded contract to provide temporary power for Ørsted's Hornsea 3 wind farm
OEG has secured a contract from Ørsted to provide temporary power solutions for the Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind Farm. The company will supply power during the offshore converter station commissioning and the turbine installation phases.
To support the converter station, OEG will utilize a synchronized setup of five 200 kVA and two 300 kVA generators on a jack-up vessel, capable of delivering up to 1,400 kVA. For the turbine installation phase, OEG will deploy 150 kVA generators paired with 3,000-liter mountable fuel tanks, a modular design intended to minimize the equipment footprint in restricted spaces.
