Oege Sietse van Lingen seeks European club after Thai contract termination

Dutch footballer Oege Sietse van Lingen is seeking a new club following the termination of his contract with Thai side Chonburi. Despite being the club's top scorer and assist leader last season, the 26-year-old was informed of his contract dissolution through media reports rather than direct communication from the club.

Chonburi cited financial reasons for the decision, which included signing a new foreign striker. Van Lingen expressed a desire to move closer to his family, specifically seeking opportunities in Europe. While he has received interest from clubs in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and the Middle East, he prefers a move to France or Belgium to be near his French wife.
