Oeste do Paraná advances development with Ambição 2040 plan and Mundo Business forum

Municipal leaders from Entre Rios do Oeste attended the official launch of the Ambição Regional 2040 strategy, a long‑term plan aimed at positioning the Oeste do Paraná micro‑region as a global reference for knowledge, innovation and technology in the protein chain. The presentation, organized by the Programa Oeste em Desenvolvimento, the Associação Comercial e Industrial de Marechal Cândido Rondon and Sebrae/PR, highlighted goals to attract investment, strengthen productive, educational and industrial sectors and align local demands with the region’s strategic agenda.

On 4 May, the second edition of Mundo Business Cascavel convened public officials, business executives and financial leaders to discuss the Oeste’s economic competitiveness and future growth. Hosted by Apex in partnership with Grupo RIC, the forum featured panels on the region’s agribusiness strength, cooperative power, projected 2026 scenario and opportunities for productivity and digital transformation. Participants heard data from Apex analyst André Bortolini and a statement from Apex Cascavel leader Eduardo Luvison emphasizing the region’s role in decentralising Brazil’s capital market. Over 400 stakeholders gathered to reinforce the Oeste’s position as a dynamic driver of Brazil’s agribusiness and innovation ecosystem.
