Of Virtue releases fourth studio album ‘Death Of The Altar’
Michigan-based metalcore band Of Virtue has released their fourth studio album, titled ‘Death Of The Altar’. The new record follows their 2023 release, ‘Omen’, and features a heavier, darker, and more emotionally charged sound.
The album incorporates industrial electronics, atmospheric production, and a vocal contrast between Tyler Ennis and Damon Tate. Lyrically, the band explores themes of destructive devotion, dependency, isolation, grief, and the consequences of self-destructive behavior, often utilizing religious imagery to represent human suffering and sacrifice.
To mark the release, the band has also debuted a new music video for the track ‘Too Late’. A tour is scheduled for late 2026, with dates including stops in Brussels, Manchester, Paris, Tilburg, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, and Frankfurt.
