OFC Beach Soccer Men’s Nations Cup schedule revised in Tahiti

The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) has announced a revised schedule for the OFC Beach Soccer Men’s Nations Cup 2026 following the withdrawal of Papua New Guinea. The tournament, which serves as a qualifier for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2027, will now begin on October 24 at the Aorai Tini Hau park in Pirae, Tahiti, instead of the originally planned October 22.

Four teams remain in the competition: Tahiti, Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, and New Caledonia. The tournament will follow a round-robin format where each team plays the others once. The top two teams from the standings will advance to the final on October 31, while the third and fourth-placed teams will compete in a third-place play-off on the same day.

New Caledonia returns to the competition for the first time since 2019, while the Solomon Islands seek to reclaim their dominance after winning the inaugural 2006 edition and four subsequent titles. All matches will be available for live viewing via the OFC’s YouTube channel.
