Off-duty police officers disarm knife-wielding man on Menton-Cannes train

Two off-duty police officers intervened on a train traveling between Menton and Cannes on Friday, August 7, to disarm an intoxicated man. The individual had been acting aggressively toward passengers before producing a knife and attempting to strike others.

The officers managed to evade the attack and physically subdue the assailant, who sustained a minor head injury during the struggle. The man was handed over to local authorities in Cannes and placed in custody.
