Off-White celebrates Virgil Abloh's legacy with Paris residency

Off-White recently held a two-day residency in Paris to celebrate ‘10×10: Icons Reimagined,’ a project designed to honor the legacy of founder Virgil Abloh. The initiative involves ten international creatives—including Scott Medusi, A$AP Nast, Veneda Carter, Renell Medrano, Stéphane Ashpool, Raul Lopez, Yuta Hosokawa, Ava Nirui, and Bafic—who have been tasked with reinterpreting ten iconic pieces from the brand’s archives.

By treating archival items as blank canvases rather than untouchable relics, the project aims to uphold the collaborative ethos established by Abloh before his passing in 2021. The Paris event featured musical performances by artists such as Crystallmess and Jazzpool, blending the fashion and music scenes.

The Paris residency serves as a single installment in a global series of events scheduled to continue through April 2027. This long-term timeline is intended to transform the tribute into an ongoing editorial calendar, unveiling exclusive products designed by the creative collective over the coming years.
