Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High “Black/Lightning” sample surfaces

A rare, unreleased sample of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black/Lightning” has surfaced. Believed to have been produced around 2017 or 2018, the sneaker features a black leather base with striking lightning yellow overlays on the ankle, oversized Swoosh, laces, and outsole.

The design incorporates signature Virgil Abloh elements, including the “AIR” text on the midsole, “SHOELACES” branding, and exposed construction. Notable details include a blue stitch securing the large Swoosh and a small orange tab near the heel. The sample includes specific identifiers such as a “SAMPLE” stamp on the inner heel and attached sample tags.

Reports suggest that only approximately three pairs of this specific model exist. Unlike other known pieces, this sample was not part of the official Virgil Abloh Archive. There are currently no plans for a general retail release, though the sample is reportedly being made available for serious offers from collectors.
