Office du Baccalauréat warns of administrative fraud in Senegal
The Office du Baccalauréat in Senegal has issued an alert regarding fraudulent individuals offering illicit ‘administrative facilitation’ services for a fee. The institution reported a recurring presence of unauthorized persons near its premises attempting to engage in scams or fraudulent maneuvers.
The Office emphasized that all official procedures—including requests for diplomas, transcripts, duplicates, or corrections—must be conducted exclusively online. Furthermore, all required payments must be made through official digital channels. The institution warned that cash payments, payments at physical counters, or transfers to third parties are not permitted and do not grant any legal rights.
Authorities cautioned that documents obtained through falsification are considered null and void, and individuals using such documents face administrative, disciplinary, and criminal sanctions.
