Office of the Attorney General recruits Audit Committee members

The Office of the Attorney General has announced a recruitment drive for its Audit Committee. The office is seeking to fill five positions: one Chairperson and four members.

According to the Public Finance Management Act and associated regulations, the Chairperson must be a Kenyan citizen with a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience in auditing, accounting, or financial management. Candidates for this role must also be members in good standing of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), possess risk management expertise, and meet the integrity requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

The four committee members must be Kenyan citizens with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of professional experience in the public or private sectors. Applicants are required to demonstrate knowledge of government operations and maintain membership in a professional body.
