Official in Riohacha alleges prosecutor leaked confidential files

Helion Jacobo Arends Cerchiaro, the Director of Indigenous Affairs in Riohacha, has filed complaints against specialized prosecutor Rafael Francisco Rojas Orcasitas. Arends Cerchiaro alleges that information from a confidential investigation was leaked to the public, which subsequently linked him to alleged narcotics trafficking activities.

The official claims the unauthorized disclosure has damaged his reputation and raised concerns regarding his personal safety. He has initiated legal actions through the Attorney General's Office, the Inspector General's Office, and the Sectional Disciplinary Commission of La Guajira to investigate potential abuses of authority and the revelation of secrets.

Additionally, Arends Cerchiaro has requested intervention from the National Protection Unit to determine if he requires special security measures due to potential threats.
