Offshore vessels BUXENUS and EAS dock at Astilleros San Enrique
The offshore sector vessels BUXENUS and EAS have docked at the Astilleros San Enrique facilities in Vigo. The BUXENUS is a jack-up vessel measuring 42 meters in length and 30 meters in width, characterized by four elevating legs that exceed 50 meters in length. This design allows the platform to rise above the sea surface to provide a stable working environment regardless of wave conditions.
The BUXENUS is equipped with a Hitachi EX1900 excavator, weighing approximately 370 tons. This specialized machinery features extra-long arms capable of reaching nearly 30 meters, allowing for port operations and excavation at depths of up to 20 meters. The vessel was transported to the shipyard by the EAS, a robust ocean-going tugboat specialized in offshore operations.
