Offshore wind companies secure new service and maintenance agreements

Njord Survey has entered into a three-year framework agreement with RWE Offshore Wind to provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services. The contract involves offshore survey campaigns across wind farms in European waters and the United Kingdom, utilizing carbon-neutral operations for seabed investigations.

Separately, Cadeler and Vattenfall have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore offshore wind operations and maintenance (O&M) solutions. The collaboration focuses on developing efficient and scalable methods for major component exchanges across various turbine platforms. This partnership aims to address the increasing complexity of maintaining aging offshore wind assets through the expertise of Cadeler’s Nexra platform and Vattenfall’s operational experience.
