OFI Amateur Club president criticizes stadium talks

Giannis Dandalis, president of the OFI Amateur Club, has criticized recent meetings regarding the construction of a new stadium for OFI Crete without the club's involvement. He stated that it is ‘unacceptable’ to hold such discussions while excluding the Amateur Club, which owns the Theodoros Vardiniogiannis Stadium.

Dandalis emphasized that any plan for a new stadium, particularly a dual redevelopment scenario, requires the participation of the Amateur Club. He called for an organized plan rather than ‘impressionistic moves’ and stressed that the project requires political will from the State, noting that other teams have received similar support in the past.
