OFI coach Christos Kontis blames defensive errors for loss to Kalamata

OFI head coach Christos Kontis expressed significant frustration following his team's 4-3 defeat against Kalamata in Nikaia. Kontis took full responsibility for the loss, criticizing his team's defensive lapses and describing certain goals conceded as “gifts” and of an “U17 level.”

He noted that while the team showed resilience to fight back during the match, defensive errors in the first half and a late goal conceded in the 94th minute proved decisive. Kontis emphasized the need for the team to maintain seriousness regardless of the opponent to meet their competitive goals.
