OFI Crete extends contracts for Lagoudakis and Chnaris until 2029
OFI Crete F.C. has announced contract extensions for two young players from its Elite Academy, Konstantinos Lagoudakis and Manos Chnaris. Both players have signed new agreements that secure their stay with the club until the summer of 2029.
The club described the move as a strategic decision to support and utilize homegrown talent. Lagoudakis joined the academy at age 13, while Chnaris joined at age 12. Chnaris, a midfielder, has already made appearances for the first team, including a debut against Aris in May 2025.
By renewing these contracts, which were originally set to expire this coming summer, OFI aims to reward the development of these players and invest in the long-term future of the squad.
