OFI Crete wins Greek Super Cup after penalty shootout victory over AEK

OFI Crete has won the Greek Super Cup for the first time in its history, defeating AEK Athens in a dramatic final at the Pankretio Stadium. The match ended 2-2 in regulation time, with goals from AEK's Jovanic and Zini, while OFI's comeback was fueled by goals from Androutsos and Kostoulas.

The title was decided via a penalty shootout, which OFI won 5-4. OFI goalkeeper Christogeorgos secured the victory by saving Barnabas Varga's penalty, while captain Thanasis Androutsos scored the decisive final penalty.

This victory marks OFI's second trophy in just a few months, following their Greek Cup win. The club is now preparing for the Europa League playoffs, where they are scheduled to face CSKA Sofia in late August.
