Greek football clubs learn UEFA European competition opponents
Greek football clubs have learned their opponents for the upcoming UEFA European competitions following the League Phase draws in Monaco.
In the Europa League, OFI secured a historic spot after defeating CSKA Sofia 5-0 on aggregate. Their opponents will include Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica, Anderlecht, Rennes, Lech Poznan, Sturm Graz, Hoffenheim, and Hapoel Beer Sheva. Olympiacos will face Milan, Marseille, Sparta Prague, Rennes, Jagellonia, Chelsea, Hoffenheim, and Torpedo.
In the Conference League, Panathinaikos will compete against Brighton, Freiburg, Borac Banja Luka, Kairat Almaty, CSKA Sofia, and Nordsjaelland.
AEK Athens, participating in the Champions League, will face Real Madrid, Roma, and Borussia Dortmund.
Olympiacos is also reportedly pursuing a €9 million bid for Pablo García from Real Betis to strengthen their squad during the transfer window.
