Ofuro café Karin no Yu announces September wellness and community events

Ofuro café Karin no Yu, located within THE FARM resort in Katori, Chiba Prefecture, has announced several upcoming wellness and community events for September 2026.

On September 15 and 24, the facility will host a “Singing Bowl Sauna” experience. This program offers a sound bath where participants can experience the overtones and vibrations of singing bowls within the warmth of a sauna. The sessions are limited to 16 participants per day and are free of charge, though an admission fee to the facility is required.

Additionally, from September 18 to September 27, the facility will hold a “Respect for the Aged Day Gratitude Bath.” As part of this community initiative, students from local Kurigen Elementary School and facility staff will create approximately 100 wooden bath floats decorated with messages and illustrations of gratitude. These floats, made from thinned forest wood, will be placed in the baths to celebrate the elderly.

Separately, the facility is hosting the 22nd “Koneppa!” event, featuring elementary school students participating in training to become heat masters (aufguss practitioners).
