Ofurocafe Karin no Yu to host leaf vein bookmark workshop

Ofurocafe Karin no Yu, a hot spring facility operated by The Farm Co., Ltd., will host a special workshop on November 3, 2026, to coincide with Culture Day. The event, titled “Making One-of-a-Kind Leaf Vein Bookmarks,” invites participants to create personalized bookmarks using leaf vein specimens.

Participants will color delicate leaf vein patterns, decorate them with masking tape or pens, and finish them with lamination and tassels. The workshop is designed to connect the beauty of nature with the culture of reading. The facility, located in Katori, Chiba Prefecture, offers approximately 10,000 books and manga for guests to enjoy in a relaxing environment.
