OG Anunoby Secures First Skechers Signature Basketball Shoe
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby will receive his first signature basketball shoe from Skechers, the company announced in an official press release. Skechers president Michael Greenberg confirmed the shoe is in development but gave no details on its name, design, price or release date. The deal follows Anunoby’s standout performance in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, where his critical block and game‑winning put‑back helped the Knicks end a 53‑year championship drought and claim the 2026 title. He also contributed 21.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks in that game and previously earned a ring with the Toronto Raptors in 2019.
The shoe will make Anunoby the second Skechers athlete with a signature model, joining NBA star Joel Embiid. Skechers entered the performance basketball market in 2023 and has built a roster that includes Embiid, Julius Randle, Isaiah Hartenstein, Norman Powell and Terance Mann, among others.
