Oga Obinna discusses challenges of fatherhood and custody disputes
Kenyan media personality and comedian Oga Obinna has addressed the complexities and social pressures associated with being a father to children outside of marriage. Obinna noted that men in this position often face intense public scrutiny regardless of their actions, facing labels of being “deadbeat” parents if they do not provide support, or being criticized for questioning paternity through DNA testing.
Regarding a specific dispute with his fourth child's mother, Mama Ella (also known as Tallie_254), Obinna responded to claims that she was forced out of his home. He stated he offered her two options for their daughter's future: either she takes custody while he covers all the child's needs, or the child remains with him with the mother having unlimited access. Obinna emphasized that he would support whichever option was chosen, provided he maintains direct access to the child.
