OGC Nice sues Grégory Lorenzi over Marseille move

OGC Nice has initiated legal action against Grégory Lorenzi before the labor court (Prud’hommes) following his decision to join Olympique de Marseille. The club alleges an abusive breach of contract, claiming Lorenzi abandoned his commitments to Nice to accept a sporting director position with Marseille despite having a signed agreement with the former club.

After a failed conciliation phase, the case has been referred for further legal proceedings. Nice is seeking financial compensation for the breach of professional contractual obligations.
