Ogulin City Council approves communal fee increase

The Ogulin City Council has approved a proposal to increase communal fee rates. Following a majority vote, the city will divide its territory into three distinct zones based on infrastructure development and equipment.

The communal fee rate will rise to 1.00 euro per square meter annually, a change that will be implemented starting January 1, 2027. This marks the first change to the rate since 2018. Officials stated the increase is necessary to cover rising costs for maintaining communal infrastructure, including materials, energy, and services.

Additionally, the council passed a decision regarding monument rent. For business premises located within the city's cultural-historical area, the monthly rent will be set at 0.20 EUR per square meter.
