Ogun State Governor orders promotion exercises for civil servants

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has ordered the commencement of promotion exercises for civil servants across all cadres within the state. Speaking at a symposium commemorating Public Service Day, Abiodun credited the state’s progress in infrastructure, education, and healthcare to the dedication of public servants.

In conjunction with the 2026 Public Service Week, Head of Service Olanrewaju Saka launched a diagnostic program titled ‘Know Your Health Status.’ Saka urged workers to prioritize preventive healthcare and regular screenings to maintain productivity. He noted that the state government continues to support staff through timely salary payments, palliative allowances, and professional development initiatives.
