Oh! Great announces new graphic novel 'Smoke' via J-POP Manga

J-POP Manga has announced 'Smoke', a new graphic novel by the renowned Japanese creator Oh! Great, known for works such as 'Air Gear' and 'Inferno'.

Set in a near-future dystopian society, the story explores a world where human suffering, desire, and conflict have been eliminated by regulating emotions and impulses to maintain order. The narrative examines the tension between societal perfection and the loss of fundamental human qualities.

This project represents a significant artistic shift for Oh! Great. The volume is designed in a large format with hardcover binding and is presented entirely in color, blending manga traditions with Western comic book aesthetics to emphasize visual detail and dynamic storytelling.
