Oh My Jah reggae group to perform in Irapuato with Jamaican Ambassador

The reggae group Oh My Jah will perform a free concert on Saturday, October 17, at Andador Juárez in the historic center of Irapuato. The event features Julia Elizabeth Hyatt, the Ambassador of Jamaica to Mexico, as a special guest.

Supported by the Irapuato Government and the Institute of Culture and Tourism (ICULTUR), the concert is part of the 54th edition of the Festival Internacional Cervantino. Oh My Jah, the first reggae band in the state of Guanajuato with a 20-year career, will be joined by the national reggae band La Comuna.

Band members expressed a desire to use the event to foster deeper cultural ties between Irapuato and Jamaica, including potential collaborations between muralists and culinary exchanges.
