Ohemaa Dynamite arrested in GH₵1.5m safe theft investigation
Social media personality Ohemaa Dynamite has been taken into custody by the Ghana Police Service following the alleged theft of approximately GH₵1.5 million from a safe belonging to Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder of International God's Way Church.
Investigations indicate that only Bishop Obinim and Ohemaa Dynamite were aware of the safe's passcode. Reports suggest that during police interrogation, Dynamite allegedly admitted to hiring accomplices to break into the safe, though she reportedly claimed she had not yet received her share of the stolen funds. She is also said to have confessed to a separate GH₵40,000 blackmail scheme.
Bishop Obinim has addressed the situation, characterizing Dynamite as a thief but disputing certain details of the reports. He denied claims that gold or idols were stolen, stating that such allegations are intended to disgrace her. He also clarified his relationship with Dynamite, noting they met approximately two months ago, contrary to rumors of a long-term romantic involvement.
