Ohh My Dog film starring Pankaj Tripathi releases July 31
The trailer for the Indian family film *Ohh My Dog* was released on July 21, showcasing a story about the deep bond between a young child and a dog. Directed, written and produced by Amit Rai, the movie features Pankaj Tripathi, Pawan Malhotra, Maahi Rai, Geeta Aggarwal Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, Vijay Mishra and more than 250 canine performers, including Oscar and Bruno. Rai explained, “There is an unspoken bond between us and dogs… this film is an attempt to give that bond a visual form.”
The plot mixes adventure, loyalty and compassion, depicting a courageous dog helping bust a local dog‑theft racket while highlighting themes of kindness toward animals. Tripathi reportedly joined the project without charging a fee because of its emotional message. *Ohh My Dog* is scheduled to open in Indian cinemas on July 31, 2026, under the Babulal Biscope and Thinking Hats Entertainment banners.
