Ohi Racecourse hosts Tokyo Kinen and Gold Junior graded races

Tokyo City Keiba (TCK) has commenced its ninth racing meet at Ohi Racecourse, running from September 14 to September 18. The event features two major graded races: the Tokyo Kinen (SII), a traditional 2,400m long-distance race for older horses scheduled for September 16, and the Gold Junior (SIII), a 1,400m race for two-year-olds held on September 17.

To celebrate the recent success of the horse Dictaeon, which achieved consecutive victories in the Korea Cup (G2) in Seoul, a victory report ceremony will be held on September 18. The ceremony will include trainer Katsunori Arayama and jockey Takayuki Yano.

Additionally, the TCK official YouTube program, ‘Uma-kyun’, will feature special guests, including former Olympic wrestling gold medalist Sara Toshi and baseball commentator Shinya Miyamoto. Visitors to the racecourse can also utilize the Rakuten Check-in feature via the Rakuten Pay app to earn points during the event.
