Ohio AI Student Program Enhances Skills for Future Tech Careers
The Student TECH CORPS program in Ohio held an AI Project Showcase where high‑school students presented artificial‑intelligence‑driven solutions to community challenges. Over a five‑week course, participants learned how AI learns, predicts and influences decisions, while developing ethical reasoning, collaboration, project design and communication skills.
Lisa M. Chambers, CEO of TECH CORPS, said the initiative reflects a shared commitment to prepare students for Ohio’s technology‑driven future. Student Nahom Girmay, a 2026 graduate of Horizon Science Academy, said the experience improved his communication, problem‑solving and leadership abilities and hopes to secure an internship with Intel next summer.
