Ohio collegiate athletics announce upcoming schedules

Ohio-based collegiate athletics are entering new seasons with upcoming schedules and championship defenses.

Ohio University soccer begins its 2026 season with a home match against UIC on August 12, followed by a game against Marshall on August 16. The Bobcats, led by head coach Aaron Rodgers, return several key players including Iro Fakinou and Sania Dearing.

In men’s lacrosse, the Big Ten has released the 2027 schedule. Two-time defending champions Ohio State will begin their title defense on March 27 against Rutgers. The Buckeyes' schedule also includes home games against Maryland and away matchups against Penn State, Johns Hopkins, and Michigan.
