Ohio couple arrested for alleged cruise ship cabin attack

An Ohio couple was arrested at Port Canaveral following an alleged attack on a family inside a cruise ship cabin. Gannon Jacox, 29, and Brooklyn Hicks, 28, reportedly confronted a family after being asked to lower their volume while intoxicated.

According to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, the pair pushed their way into the victims' room, where Jacox allegedly struck two adults and a 9-year-old child. While the victims did not sustain serious injuries, Jacox sustained an eye injury during the altercation.

Jacox has been charged with burglary with battery and child abuse without great bodily harm. Hicks faces charges of burglary with battery and battery-touch/strike. Both individuals were booked into the Brevard County Jail.
