Ohio mother sentenced for injecting fecal matter into infant's IV

Tiffany Marie Le Sueur, a 35‑year‑old mother from Columbus, Ohio, pleaded guilty to child endangerment after injecting human fecal matter into her infant son's IV line at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Surveillance video captured her twice attempting to contaminate the IV, first on February 6 and again on February 8, using a cup and syringe. The child’s condition was not disclosed.

On August 5, a Franklin County Common Pleas judge ordered Le Sueur to serve three years of community control and placed her on probation, prohibiting unsupervised contact with the child or any minor. No prison time was imposed. The case highlights severe child‑abuse concerns and hospital security measures following the incident.
