Ohio officials condemn racist KKK flyers found near schools

Racist flyers bearing Ku Klux Klan imagery and messages were discovered across several central Ohio neighborhoods on Tuesday, including Clintonville, Upper Arlington, and Worthington.

In Clintonville, materials were found near World Language Middle School and Indian Springs Elementary School. Some flyers reportedly included references to neighborhood surveillance. Reports suggest the materials may be attributed to the ‘Trinity White Knights,’ a faction known for distributing similar flyers in Ohio previously.

Local officials and community members have condemned the incident. Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther described the flyers as a ‘vile and hateful intrusion’ that goes against the values of the city. Columbus City Council President Shannon Hardin and Worthington school officials also issued statements denouncing the hateful messages and emphasizing the importance of maintaining safe, welcoming environments for students and families.
