Ohio parents face new charges in ‘House of Horrors’ case

Elizabeth and Gary Siders II, the parents central to the Ohio ‘House of Horrors’ case, are facing additional allegations involving a 17th child taken into their home. Court documents indicate the child, aged between 13 and 16, lived with the family for approximately nine months in 2022 and subsequently accused Gary Siders II of abuse while he was acting ‘in loco parentis’.

Elizabeth Siders, 33, appeared in court on September 16 facing new charges of sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor involving a family member. Her bail was set at $250,000, and she was ordered to have no contact with her husband. Her attorney, Thomas Stolly, has raised concerns regarding her competency to understand the legal implications of the felony charges.

Gary Siders II, 36, also faces charges of sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct. The investigation into the couple began in December 2025 following allegations of sexual abuse involving two children, with a second investigation launched in March regarding alleged unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
