Stroud led his team to a 34-31 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, aided by a late-game drive and the debut of former teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba recorded 134 receiving yards, while Tennessee's Carnell Tate scored his first career touchdown.

At the collegiate level, Ohio State football safety Earl Little Jr. has emerged as a key contributor to the Buckeyes' 6-1 start to the season, leading the team with 38 tackles. In men's ice hockey, freshman Evan Jardine was named the Big Ten Second Star of the Week after recording two goals and three assists in a series against Sacred Heart.
