Ohio State Highway Patrol to host recruitment and aviation event

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is hosting a recruitment and aviation event at the Wood County Regional Airport in Bowling Green on September 21. The event includes a question-and-answer session with troopers and a static display of OSHP aircraft starting at 9 a.m.

At 10 a.m., a regional testing session will begin, offering a “one-stop testing” opportunity. Prospective applicants can meet with troopers, complete an application, take a written test, and undergo a physical fitness assessment during a single visit. This process is designed to help candidates secure spots in upcoming OSHP academy classes.

To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. citizens between the ages of 20 and 39, possess a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid driver’s license. Attendees are advised to wear business casual attire and bring appropriate clothing and shoes for physical testing.
