Ohio State shifts focus to Kent State after loss to Texas

Following a 24-23 loss to No. 1 Texas, the No. 6 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes are preparing to face Kent State. Head coach Ryan Day emphasized the need to redefine the team's standards after failing to maintain a three-score lead in the fourth quarter against Texas.

In addition to the loss, the Buckeyes face roster challenges due to injuries sustained during the game in Austin. Senior right tackle Phillip Daniels and sophomore defensive end Zion Grady both left the game with lower-body injuries. Coach Day indicated that both players have had limited practice and may not be available for the upcoming matchup against Kent State.

Quarterback Julian Sayin and offensive guard Luke Montgomery expressed a desire to use the recent defeat as motivation to correct mistakes and improve execution.
