Ohio voter registration deadline set for November midterm elections

Residents in Ohio must register to vote or update their existing registration by October 5 at 9 p.m. to participate in the November 3 midterm elections. Registration can be completed online or in person, requiring identification such as an Ohio driver’s license or Social Security Number.

The upcoming election features several high-profile races, including the gubernatorial contest between Republican Vivek Ramaswamy and Democrat Amy Acton. In the U.S. Senate race, incumbent Republican Jon Husted will face Democrat Sherrod Brown. Additionally, voters will decide on Issue 3, a proposed constitutional amendment regarding photo identification requirements for voting.

Early voting is scheduled to begin on October 6, while military and overseas absentee voting is already underway and will conclude on November 2.
