North Macedonia judicial institutions launch new regional forum and HR strategy

The Constitutional Court of North Macedonia, with support from the constitutional courts of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, has established the Ohrid Forum for Dialogue. This regional platform aims to foster cooperation and exchange experiences to enhance independence, transparency, and efficiency within constitutional judiciaries.

Separately, the Public Prosecutor's Office of North Macedonia held an inter-institutional meeting to prepare its Human Resources Strategy for 2026-2028. Supported by the EU project ‘Support to the Rule of Law’, the initiative addresses long-standing challenges including insufficient staffing, uneven distribution of personnel, an aging workforce, and the need for specialized expertise. Public Prosecutor Nenad Saveski emphasized that the goal is to create a sustainable system that ensures qualified professionals can work independently and responsibly, supported by new legislation expected to take effect next year.
