Ohrid hosts 30th Republic Pensioner Sports Competitions

The 30th Republic Pensioner Sports Competitions have officially opened in Ohrid, organized by the Union of Associations of Pensioners of Macedonia. The jubilee event is being held at the ‘Biljani Izvori’ sports center.

Ohrid Mayor Kiril Pecaov attended the opening ceremony, emphasizing that the event serves as an opportunity for socializing, exchanging experiences, and fostering new friendships among seniors. He noted that the participants' energy and vitality demonstrate that age is not a limitation to staying active.

The competitions consist of 10 different disciplines. A total of 312 pensioners representing 41 associations from across Macedonia are participating in the games. The ceremony was also attended by the President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova.
