OHSAA soccer championships to move to ScottsMiracle-Gro Field
The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) has announced that the state soccer championships, scheduled for November 13-16, 2026, will be held at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field in Columbus. The venue, home to the Columbus Crew, will host the event due to turf maintenance issues at Historic Crew Stadium.
Across the United States, high school football saw extensive action on Friday, October 9. In California, the season continued with numerous matchups, including notable results in the Southland where Santa Margarita and Sierra Canyon maintained undefeated or high-ranking statuses. In Washington, teams like Forks and North Kitsap secured victories in their respective Friday night contests.
Other regional highlights included the return of Celina quarterback Parker Wynk to the field in Ohio following a spinal injury, and a memorial for Yorktown player Chris Wilson Jr. in Indiana.
